In order to meet the needs of our users, the LRC arranges for free trials to databases that might be of interest to the college community. Associates Programs Source Plus
Associates Programs Source Plus is designed specifically for junior & community colleges with a primary focus on disciplines of study within associate degrees and certification programs. Areas explored include accounting, agricultural sciences, child care services, cosmetology, culinary arts, forestry, food service management, graphic arts, hair dressing, hospitality management, interior design, journalism, plumbing, heating & air conditioning, veterinary technology and welding to name a few. Trial Period: 4/23/08 - 5/23/08

SocINDEX with Full Text
SocINDEX with Full Text is the world's most comprehensive and highest quality sociology research database. The database features more than 1,918,000 records with subject headings from a 19,300+ term sociological thesaurus designed by subject experts and expert lexicographers. SocINDEX with Full Text contains full text for 428 "core" coverage journals dating back to 1908, and 136 "priority" coverage journals. EBSCO A-to-Z is a locator tool listing all of a library's e-resources, including e-journals, titles in full-text databases, publisher packages and e-books. EBSCO A-to-Z can include print titles and other local resources you choose to upload.

The master EBSCO A-to-Z title database represents all major database vendors and publishers, with information on more than 216,000 unique titles from nearly 2,000 databases and e-journal packages.
