At the end of the academic year, all students who participated in Service-Learning are awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment. All faculty who sponsored students and community partners who supervised them receive a Certificate of Appreciation, as do the members of the Service-Learning Advisory Board. Beginning in 2006, Special Service-Learning Recognition Awards were presented to BCC administrators, community partners, faculty, and students who made significant contributions to the service-learning program during that year at the Annual Service-Learning Recognition Breakfast. Starting in 2007, the winners of the community partner and faculty awards were determined by service-learning students’ votes.
