What can the office of Career Services do for me?
Career Services can help you explore careers, define your career interests, research your major, and plan your career path. Career counselors can also help you with every aspect of your job search including resume writing, interviewing, and job search strategies.

Who is eligible for services? Is there a fee?
BCC students and alumni are eligible for services free of charge. Members of the community are always welcome at Career Center workshops.

How can I make an appointment to see a career counselor or take a career test?
Call 508.678.2811, ext. 2231 or stop by the Career Center in G217 to set up an individual appointment, or register for a Career Center workshop.

Can someone help me with my resume?
Yes, just make an appointment to bring your resume in and a career advisor will critique it.

I've never done a job search before. Can someone tell me where to start?
Yes, you may want to start by attending a career services workshop. Check out our calendar. Pick up instructional guides and check out our web links.

Can Career Services help me find part-time or full-time employment?
Schedule an orientation session that will provide you with an overview of how to use the BCC Job Database tool to search and apply for jobs.

How can programs at BCC prepare me for a career?
Check out BCC's academic catalog and explore the wide variety of programs leading to many exciting careers. Review the course descriptions and contact the program directors whose e-mail addresses are listed in the catalog.
