BCC Soccer Results - August 30
The men’s soccer team won their first game as a Region XXI member, beating out Manchester Community College 4-3. Jason Couto scored at 79:12 to break the 3-3 tie and earn himself the first hat trick of the season.
Fighting nerves and inclement weather, the women’s soccer team fell to the more seasoned Manchester team 4-0. BCC goalkeeper Natasha Roman recorded 22 saves, and allowing only one goal in the second half.
The Bristol Bees will compete on the road next, with the men facing Holyoke and the women taking on Bunker Hill. The next home game will be September 11 at 3:30 p.m., when the women take on Mass Bay. A complete schedule can me found on the BCC Athletics Web site.
