Bristol Community College creates Human Services transfer agreement with Eatern Nazarene College
Bristol Community College has signed an agreement with Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA, that guarantees BCC Human Services graduates the opportunity to enter its Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work as juniors.
BCC graduates with a 3.0 GPA or higher will be guaranteed admission and all coursework included in the BCC Human Services associate degree will be applied towards required coursework in the Social Work program. This is the first articulation agreement that allows BCC Human Services graduates full transfer of credit into a Social Work program.
“The program allows students who begin at BCC to seamlessly continue their education without losing time,” said BCC Director of Transfer Affairs Eileen Shea. Students can complete the program online, which enables them to complete the bachelor’s degree from anywhere, she added.
Bristol Community College Transfer Affairs office provides transfer counseling and agreements to students who plan to continue their education at four-year colleges and universities. Resources and services include updated transfer and scholarship information, assistance with applications, and transcript reviews and consultations.
