Special ABE Programs
BCC offers several ABE programs that are specific to our individual campuses, or offered in the workplace.
EPAY (Attleboro Campus)
Provides up to 26.5 hours of High School Equivalency Test Instruction, comprehensive counseling, job shadowing/internships, student leadership, tutoring, career readiness and some free High School Equivalency testing and tuition for one-credit college success seminars. Offered in Attleboro for Out-of School Youth who qualify at the Attleboro Career Center.
Dislocated Workers Program (Fall River Campus)
This twenty-hour per week program is designed for those who have lost their jobs due to foreign trade. Classes in ABE and ESOL are offered in Fall River. Eligible individuals must be referred by a Career Center counselor.
English for Speakers of Other Languages Course (Fall River Campus)
Provides English classes in Fall River for those with limited English proficiency. Classes offered both day and evening. Fees apply.
High School Equivalency Test Preparation (Fall River, Taunton, Attleboro Campuses)
Prepares individuals who have not completed high school for the High School Equivalency Test. Fees apply.
Workplace Literacy Program
Offers literacy services to businesses for their employees through private contracts and collaborative grants. Classes are held at the business’ location.
