Facilities
The Theatre program is based in the college's
Jackson Arts Center, and shares
its home with the College's music, visual, and multimedia arts programs.
We work in a professionally-equipped, 700-seat main stage proscenium
theatre with state of the art computer lighting and sound technology,
video and film projection capacity. Also in the Arts Center is the
Studio Theatre, a black box flexible seating space with a sprung-wood
floor, and lighting, used for classes, performances, student-directed
productions and workshops. The main stage theatre includes a flexible
orchestra pit/apron set on hydraulic lifts. There is a make-up room,
costume room, changing rooms used for classes, performances, and/or
technical work in the semester's main stage production and studio theatre.
