Bristol Community College’s Fall River Campus has twelve parking lots with over 1,800 spaces. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. To park legally on campus, your vehicle must be between two white lines. There is absolutely no parking on grass, in fire lanes, or in yellow striped no parking areas.
Illegally or improperly parked vehicles will receive Parking Violation Notices that carry monetary fines.
Monies received from the parking fines are deposited into a trust that is used to provide financial aid to BCC students. Failure to respond to a parking violation will result in further penalties. Twenty-one (21) days from the date of issue, a $5 late fee is added.
Between 60 and 90 days from original issue, the unpaid ticket is sent to the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Once the ticket is at the Registry, another $20 is added to the original fine. At this point, the vehicle owner will not be able to renew his/her license or registration until the fines have been paid at Bristol Community College.
A request for appeal may be filed within 21 days of receiving a violation. Forms are available in the Campus Police Office D110. Temporary permit parking is available for students and staff with short-term disabilities. These spaces are limited, so proper medical documentation is required. Permit parking is only valid for 30 days and may be renewed each month if needed.
