Course Equivalency Guides
Transfer Affairs has negotiated a number of course equivalency guides with area colleges. There are two types of guides. The first type lists the general education courses that all students are required to take at the 4-year colleges and the BCC courses that are equivalent. The second type lists BCC courses and their 4-year college equivalents.
If you are interested in transferring to any of the colleges listed below and would like to be sure that the courses you choose at BCC will transfer, you may view guides for each of the schools listed below.
**Announcement**
Bristol Community College will be converting from a two digit to a three digit numbering system as of fall 2010 and in a few subject areas the three letter course designation will also change. The content of the courses will remain the same so existing articulation agreements are unaffected except for the number change. A view the two digit to three digit conversion chart click here
Students who matriculated (enrolled in a degree program) at BCC during the fall of 2009 or later should meet the requirements of the MassTransfer Block. This will ensure their general education courses are waived at the four-year college, with the exception of two classes assigned by the four-year college. Certain programs automatically meet the MassTransfer Block, for a list of those programs please click here.
Students who matriculated (enrolled in a degree program) prior to fall 2009 may also have their general education requirements waived at the four-year college by meeting the requirements of the MassTransfer Block
