Technology Services for Students
Information Technology Services (ITS) provides you support in using campus computers and computer-based services. ITS can provide you with answers to questions about:
- Wireless access
- Location of computer labs on campus
- Student email
- AccessBCC
- eLearning services
You can receive additional information about these and other student services through the Help Desk located in the Commonwealth Computing Center (K130.)
About Us
Information Technology Services (ITS) is organized into four areas:
Enterprise and Administrative Systems — Includes enterprise server and database management, College portal management, document imaging, and project management and planning.
Help Desk and Academic Technology Support Services – Provides telephone, walk-in, and email based assistance to students, faculty, and staff for most computer and technical equipment on campus. Provides academic technology support to faculty.
Network and User Services – Maintains and manages network, wireless, and telecommunications infrastructure including storage, virtualization, printing, and phone and voicemail services. Provides desktop and user computing services.
Information Security – Develops and manages information security programs to protect technology infrastructure, College data, and end users from malicious activity; includes legal compliance and emergency preparedness technology.
