Green Belt and Quality Control (Hybrid)
This 40 hour course covers a detailed presentation of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques. The DMAIC process is covered in detail and a simulation is used to demonstrate the continual improvement process. This is an intensive course for those wanting to become certified Green Belts. Students will have the opportunity to obtain their Green Belt Certification upon the completion of an out-of-class project.
Introduction to Quality Tools 101 & 102
These two 20 hour courses cover the basic and intermediate quality improvement skills needed by manufacturing and service employees to successfully participate in continual improvement methods such as Lean and/or Six Sigma. Participants will learn how to use data to take action by being familiar with: data collection, Pareto Charts, Scatter Diagrams, Flow Charts and process mapping.
