Library Learning Commons Tutoring and Writing Center

The Library Learning Commons (LLC) is the central hub for tutoring at Bristol Community College, housing both the Writing Center and subject-based tutoring. With locations on each campus, through online and in-person appointments, LLC Tutoring and the Writing Center are here to help you achieve your educational goals, whether you’re here for just a few classes or to earn a degree.

Tutors are available to help you with specific course content questions, study skills (note-taking, test preparation, etc.), and all types of writing, including non-class-related writing. Whether you're looking to get on track, stay on track, or scale new heights in your learning, tutors are there to help you work towards reaching your next level.

Accessing Tutoring

For some subjects, including for Writing Center services, students may drop in without making an appointment ahead of time. To see schedules for both online and in-person drop-ins, please visit LLC Tutoring's webpage.

Other subjects may be covered by appointment only, or may offer appointments in addition to drop-in times. To see what's available, students can search and book via TracCloud, or they may contact LLC Tutoring directly, either by email or by calling or visiting any Library Learning Commons location.

The Writing Center also offers an asynchronous (by-email) draft review service, which students can learn about here.
