COVID-19 information and how to get ready for Summer and Fall 2021
New Bedford Library Moving
We are excited to announce we are moving to our new location at 800 Purchase Street in the lower level.
In order to facilitate the move, the library will be closed on August 12th and reopen on August 26th.
Here are some helpful tips regarding our services while we are in transition:
Library materials: if you need to drop off library books, CDs or DVDs may do so at any Bristol CC Library campus, any SAILS public library location near them or the Writing and Tutoring center in New Bedford. All other items (calculators, Echo pens, Digital recorders) will need to be dropped off at the Writing and Tutoring center at 800 Purchase street. Their hours are: Monday through Tuesday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and Wednesday through Thursday, Noon - 6 p.m. if the center is closed they may be dropped off at the administration office, 4th floor.
Bristol Campus Card: Please utilize the online Bristol campus card option. It is easy to use and faster than the traditional method. Guidelines for submission. You still have the option to go to Fall River if you are able. All Id’s will be available for pick up after August 27th. If you have already taken your ID prior to August 7th and need to pick it up, please see Tinamarie Marshall on the 4th floor in the administration office.
YMCA and Buttonwood Zoo passes: Unfortunately, these will have to be placed on hold until we reopen. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Course Reserves: This will be unavailable until we reopen. Holds: These will be available after the 27th.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact Susan Souza-Mort at email@example.com
Thank you for your patience in this endeavor and we look forward to seeing you in our new location!
