New Safety Training Programs at Bristol: Register Now for Fall 2026

This fall, Bristol and GCI are offering three industry-focused safety training programs at the National Offshore Wind Institute (NOWI) in New Bedford. Fall Training Schedule 

Fall Protection Awareness 

September 24, 6 hours, $279 

Meet OSHA fall protection awareness requirements while learning the proper use of safety systems designed to prevent injuries and fatalities from falls. This course covers key fall protection methods used throughout the construction industry, including guardrails, safety nets, personal fall arrest systems, warning line systems, and protection from falling objects.   

Scaffold Awareness 

October 6, 6 hours, $279 

Gain a solid understanding of scaffold safety principles, hazard recognition, and best practices for safe scaffold use. This course helps participants identify potential risks and supports safer work practices on construction sites. 

Signal Certification & Basic Rigging Safety 

November 4, 8 hours, $279 

Learn the essential skills needed to support safe lifting operations. This course covers industry-standard hand and voice signals, rigging fundamentals, load safety procedures, and hazard prevention techniques that help reduce job-site risks and improve compliance.
