Career Counseling Sessions
Our career counselors offer the tools and guidance to explore occupations, industries, and career paths that complement your unique set of skills, interests, values, and personality type.
Current students and alumni may book an appointment with either of Bristol's Career Coordinators, Jeffrey Craig or Elizabeth McCarthy. Both offer the same services, but have different availability. Schedule an appointment with whoever has the best time available for you.
Career Assessment Tool
Our comprehensive, web-based career assessment tool, Focus 2, will help you to obtain a deeper understanding of your skills, interests and personality and to learn about compatible careers. Focus 2 can help you discover occupations that match your personal preferences and attributes, map an education plan and make informed career decisions. - CareerExplorer – Provides in-depth profiles of over 1,000 professions. Search by industry, salary, education level required and more.
- CareerExplorer Assessment – Offers a comprehensive, free career assessment tool that recommends careers based on one’s interests, goals, workplace preferences and personality traits.

Career Video Library (CareerOneStop) – CareerOneStop offers hundreds of 90-second videos that provide snapshots of specifics occupations. Learn about typical work tasks, work settings, necessary education/training requirements, and get a quick view of wages and job outlook. This resource provides an outstanding way to learn about lots of occupations in one sitting.

ONET Online – A comprehensive database of occupational information developed by the U.S. Department of Labor. It provides detailed information on hundreds of occupations, including job duties, required skills and abilities, educational requirements, salary information and job outlook.
