Career Counseling Sessions

Our career counselors offer the tools and guidance to explore occupations, industries, and career paths that complement your unique set of skills, interests, values, and personality type. To make an appointment, email CareerServices@BristolCC.edu, call 774.357.2959, or follow the steps below.

You can book your appointment through EAB Navigate 360. Find a link to EAB Navigate 360 in your myBristol account, or follow these steps:

On mobile: you can download Navigate in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store by searching "Navigate Student".

On desktop: Access Navigate here and select log in. Use the same username and password that you use to access myBristol.

Career Assessment Tool

Our comprehensive, web-based career assessment tool, Focus 2, will help you to obtain a deeper understanding of your skills, interests and personality and to learn about compatible careers. Focus 2 can help you discover occupations that match your personal preferences and attributes, map an education plan and make informed career decisions.   • CareerExplorer – Provides in-depth profiles of over 1,000 professions. Search by industry, salary, education level required and more.
  • Career Video Library (CareerOneStop) – This popular resource provides brief video overviews offer 600 occupations. Learn about typical work tasks, work settings, educational requirements, and important qualities for various roles, helping users explore career paths and make informed decisions. A great tool for learning about lots of occupations in one sitting.

  • My Skills, My Future (CareerOneStop) – Enter previous job titles and discover careers that require similar skills. A great resource for career changers!

  • Occupational Outlook Handbook – helps students find career information on duties, education and training, pay and outlook for hundreds of occupations.
  • ONET Online – A comprehensive database of occupational information developed by the U.S. Department of Labor. It provides detailed information on hundreds of occupations, including job duties, required skills and abilities, educational requirements, salary information and job outlook.
